Fruits of the forest tour: waterfalls, wine and whatever else we find.
The Fruits of the Forest tour is close to our hearts at Redgum Roadtrips, as it taking place in a very beautiful area we have always adored. The Otway Ranges have many hidden gems with waterfalls, food and wine being definite highlights amongst them.
Hidden in deep valleys, between the giant gum trees towering over lush temperate rainforest, are many beautiful cascades trying to make their way out to the coast. On this roadtrip you will get to see up to three of these beautiful waterfalls, as well as discover the hidden world that hides under the thick canopy, as we follow the trails through the forests. We will also visit the awesome Otway Redwoods Grove, one of our favourite spots in the Great Otway National Park.
After a solid morning of natural wonders, we naturally go in search of food and drink. The Otways and the Great Ocean Road host some great foodie hotspots, to stop for lunch, that can suit any taste and budget. From there we can explore the excellent wineries, breweries and local producers serving up everything from local berry infused gins to delicious fungi, foraged from the forest floor. There is plenty to get excited about. The second half of the day is flexible for each group, while planning the trip. Everybody has different tastes and we want you to experience the things you desire. Call to have a chat with us about what’s on offer and we will build your perfect afternoon.
Come and celebrate the fresh forest air and great food with a glass of fine wine and a group of your mates, carefree, with Redgum Roadtrips.
This trip is excellent during the rainy months, we might get a little wet, but that’s part of the fun and it's when the waterfalls and rainforest are putting on their best show.
